ULAC is located only two miles from the picturesque town of Killaloe in East Clare. It is situated on the sheltered shores of Lough Derg where they have numerous activities available.
These include canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, archery and much more.
UL Sports Arena is located beside the University of Limerick. It contains a state of the art gym, olympic sized pool, sauna, astro-turf pitches, an outdoor and indoor running track and indoor sports arena courts.
There is also a bar that serves food and drink nearby.
On a rainy day, a movie is great to keep the kids entertained! There is a broad list of movies available in the Ormond Cinema.
There is free wifi available at our cottages if you can't find a movie to watch.
It's loads of fun for all the kids to enjoy!
They are located just a 30 minute drive from our cottages, it's perfect for a wet day.
Delta Karting is an indoor karting track located just beside Delta Adventure Centre. It is a 30 minute drive from Puckane.
It's great fun for the teenagers on a wet day!
The Hunt Museum is located in Limerick City, which is 45 minutes away from the cottages.
The Hunt Museum is situated on Rutland Street on the banks of the River Shannon. Among the museums collection are works by notable artists and designers such as Pablo Picasso, Jack B. Yeats, and Sybil Connolly as well as distinctive historical items such as the O' Dea Mitre and Crozier.
King John's Castle is a 13th-century castle located on King's Island in Limerick, next to the River Shannon. It is one of the best preserved Norman castles in Europe, the walls, towers and fortifications remain today and are visitor attractions.
Between 2011 and 2013, the castle underwent a massive redevelopment, with €5.7 million spent to improve the visitor facilities of the castle.
Take a look behind the scenes at Thomond Park Stadium. The stadium tour takes you to places usually only accessible to players and officials.
The full stadium tour consists of a museum visit, entry to the home and away dressing rooms, plus visits to pitch-side, the Munster dugout.
On a warm day, enjoy a guided tour of the River Shannon. Travel along the river in kayaks and learn about Limericks rich history.

Nenagh Eqestrian Centre has the benefit of being close to Nenagh town yet is situated in the countryside lying at the foot of the Silvermines Mountains and is open through-out the year.
Nenagh is just 10 minutes from Puckane.
Kennedys pub offers live music on a Wednesday. The Derg Pub has music on a Friday night. Larkins Pub has music on a Wednesday night. Rohans Bar has live music on a Wednesday night.
Limerick has a lot to offer and considering it is only 45 minutes away from the cottages, it's definitely worth a visit.
